Always wanting to spruce my place up, I am constantly scouting discount stores and flea markets for one-of-a-kind looking pieces. I also scour various magazines for ideas, tips and tricks. One of my favorite ways to create my own look is loving on advertisements from publications. Here’s an example:
Absolute penny pincher. I loved this advertisement for Absolut vodka and decided to make it ‘art’ by framing it. Adds a touch of fabulous for about $10 (cost of frame).
Because I’m not investing my meager savings account on ‘art,’ I don’t feel badly when I grow tired of my featured ads and simply recycle the frames when change comes a calling. It’s savvy, yet chic (at least I think so)!
