Yeehaw to a New Year!
Adventures in dual driving on the short trip out to my parent’s house on Christmas Eve…
Where were welcomed with holiday delight…
And played our favorite dice game of Left Right Center.

If you blow (or in my dad’s case spit) on the dice, it supposedly brings better luck (and disgusting game pieces), as he was the big winner.
We carefully selected cookies to leave for Santa (you know he only ate the pink ones).
Teddy had to be coaxed out of bed Christmas morning with a little Merry Christmas ribbon and promises of cat nip under the tree.
And I had to be coaxed out of my slumber with a mimosa, which took all of two seconds.
Of course all of the Christmas commotion was taking attention away from Ted, so he sat right in the middle of the unwrapping action.
And then I had to try it too (although I looked like a fat, gigantic Christmas elf instead of a cute little fur ball).
After all of that rolling around in the trash, I had to get ready to spend my New Year’s here:
Miami…what a hard way to bring in the new year.
I know how sorry you’re feeling for me.

Everything about this post is hilarious – you need a sitcom! And you and Teddy are practically twins in those Christmas wrapping paper shots!! Sooo busy on the mani circuit these days! Please know that I make time for my fave glitterskullkittyalcohol blog (I read a few but you’re my favorite).
Awe, I love being a fave! You are SO busy with your Mani Cave updates, actual manis and guest blogging! If I ever get a sitcom, you will play the nail painting neighbor who co-signs on every stupid idea I think I must do with Ted. Deal?
I love it! My cats do the same thing with the wrapping paper. We have Christmas traditions-Crash must sit on at least one box and Muffin must climb in the trash bag of paper scraps. Crazy cats!
Isn’t it funny how they can ‘claim’ territory once a year at Christmas? And remember from year to year? Cats are crazy but don’t get enough credit for being so sneaky smart!
You made sun and fun happen, Captain!
Well, I certainly tried!
Amazing!! Hope you had a blast in Miami 🙂
Too much sun, too much fun!
love those jammies!
They complete my Christmas, much like Renee Zellweger did for Tom Cruise in “Jerry Maguire”.
So cute and funny! I hope you had a very happy holiday and had fun bringing in the New Year in Miami!
Thanks Girl! Miami was fabulous – how can it not be?!
Cats, booze and cookies. You need to charge admission to let us come have Christmas at your house. I’m totally in. Please bring the nice weather back with you and drop it over your neighbors in Kentucky, it’s like 22 here tonight.
If I’d have known you were that close, you would have had an invite this year! Teddy, whatever your choice of booze and myself will be welcoming with open arms next holiday season!
So jealous! I need s sunny vacation spot ASAP! I’ve been in hiberation since the semester ended! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year and go get your fun on after hibernating!
