A little pink on pink like flower petals just in time for the cute bunny (and all of that Easter chocolate he leaves behind this Sunday).
My nails are jewels, not tools so someone is gonna have to unwrap my peanut butter cups for me.
After applying a base coat, I did two rounds of OPI in Flashbulb Fuchsia and topped the tips with OPI in Merryberry Mauve glitter top coat. Using a sparkly polish for the French tip is much more forgiving than a solid color, FYI – so even you folks with shaky hands can master this mani.

I am thinking a sunset orange/coral and bright pink. I will post pics when/if I get around to doing it! Between my son, husband, and dogs I don’t have much down time to let polish dry!

Love it! BTW you have inspired me to paint my nails. I went for a deep red and used the top coat of Seche Vite. I have NO IDEA what the hell is wrong with my technique but it lasted ONE day! I had to take it all off and go with bland and safe Sugar Daddy by Essie. I swear I am cursed by the nail polish demons 😦
Stop! Only one day? What base are you using? So one coat of base, two coats color and one coat of Seche Vite? WTF?! Maybe we should get together and do our nails? That’s probably the missing piece!!!
Oops! Did you say base coat? Lol I have never used it at home. That must be what the hell I’m doing wrong. You may have just saved me from giving up on dark color polish. Which base do you use?
YES!!!! You MUST apply base coat! Seche Vite makes a good one but so does Sally Hansen. Go get you some and fingers crossed it works! 🙂
Oh my god, I am so out of touch with doing my nails. The reason is I used to get them done in salon when I was making crazy good money. That was a long while ago and now since I can’t visit the nail salon as often, I need to go and buy a shit load of good nail products. Thank you for all your wonderful advice and base coat shopping here we come 🙂
Of course! Let me know if you need any other suggestions. I love getting my nails done at a salon but honestly, I enjoy doing them myself more (and I don’t have the cash to spend). But I do splurge on good nail products to use at home because they last so long. Good luck!
