James Lipton, famous for his mad interviewing skills, always asks the same ten questions to every guest on his show Inside the Actor’s Studio (and as I sit on my ass and watch from my leopard couch, I always answer right along). So imagine my delight when last week, my fabulous friend peacelovegreatcountrymusic posted a Daily Prompt (for you non-bloggers, that’s daily ideas to exercise your imagination muscle with writing) to answer the always asked ten questions.
Because I endlessly talk about myself here, I thought it would only be fitting to interview our my favorite feline fur ball, who rules the world of CBXB.
While I’m sure to pay for the sleep interruption later tonight, here are Teddy’s answers to James Lipton’s questions:
What is your favorite word? Food. DUH.
What is your least favorite word? No. Which is a word I rarely hear.
What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Cattails and naps.
What turns you off? Costumes my mother forces me into on a seasonal basis.

Cinco de Teddy festivities – where someone almost received a claw to the eye.
What is your favorite curse word? It’s more of a sound. A hiss, combined with a meow moments before trying to attack my mom who inevitably is forcing me do something I don’t want to do.
What sound or noise do you love? Tink. (the noise of food hitting my bowl)
What sound or noise do you hate? The alarm going off in the morning. When I refuse to budge and make my mom wiggle around me like a contortionist, so she doesn’t wake the sleeping Bear.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Being that I’m a professional eater, I’d like to try my hand at drinking for a career (I mean, my mom makes it look terribly easy).
What profession would you not like to do? Hunt. I prefer my food poured into a bowl for me.
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? What took you so long? Your mom is waiting over that rainbow bridge to drink with you.
That may be Mr. Bear’s own private kind of hell…

Have you ever witnessed Teddy hunting at all? No dead birds/rodents at your doorstep?
Well, I have witnessed two terrifying scenes – he presented me with a life cardinal while I was soaking in the bathtub one evening years ago (and he isn’t an outdoor cat, so he somehow managed to catch this bird in a screened in porch) AND he once brought me a mouse in bed. At 3am. Then he switched to tampons and all has been well since then!
Wha!?!?! Well at least you know he loves you. When cats kill stuff or catch stuff and bring it to you it means they are crazy about you right? I have 2 dogs so I’m not really sure where I got this info.
Cats have a keen knack for getting into your head, even if you don’t own one, thus you know that felines ‘present’ their owners with stuff they ‘kill’. Only in my case, neither creature was dead….!
Tedster! π
Awww, rainbow bridge :))
Ted trying to get into the glass β€
He a sight for sore eyes, isn’t he?! π

What a fun interview with your adored and pampered fur ball. π Looks like you really have your work cut out, keeping him happy.
Keeping this Bear happy is a full time job!
Super cute post…..love the costumes!
Thanks D-Anna! As you can see by Teddy’s expressions, he’s not in love with the costumes as much as me!
Teddy for mayor (just not of Toronto because that is just TOO GOOD to give up!!!!!)
Oh you got that right…let’s keep that Toronto train on the tracks so we can watch it further derail itself!
Have you seen this yet?
YUKS aplenty!!!
(so very glad I moved down to Boston!)
OMFG! I hadn’t seen it – just the afternoon pick-me-up I needed right now (I say with tears rolling down my cheeks from laughter)!
And he made it into WWD today – now that is ridunculous!!!
Your Ted is a lot more fun than that other TED everyone talks about. I have got to see him in an angel costume with a halo.
I will make your wish my command with the angel costume once I find one. I can’t wait to see his angelic expression…!
This was perfectly written and so truly accurate.
I almost have a tear in my eye damn you miss CBXB! π
I need a beer stat!!
Did the beer take care of the tear? Hey wait, that sounds like the beginning of a sad country song…!
Ha! It sure does sound like a country song! You are so clever!
Beer and bourbon usually take care of all sorts of ailments.
I couldn’t agree more. But I have noted that beer takes care of your crying episodes.
Hahaha…..what a hilarious post and I see that you really loves him ! What was easy peasy drinking there ?
Haha! YES! Easy peasy drinking galore!
π π π !
Is that his bed?! π
Yes. Of course Mr. Bear has his own bed. Although he tends to share mine when I’m in it!
I love it!
I love it, what a fun post. I’m so glad Teddy chose to indulge us. You’ll come home and find your Christmas tree in the middle of the floor, mine used to live to knock it down.
Oh don’t you know Teddy well? I purposely left the tree unplugged when I left for work this morning!
